The industrial activity of Ferriera Valsider rolling mill is divided into two different production lines: heavy plate mill and coil mill. Heavy plate mill was designed for a production capacity of up to 400 Ktonnes per year.The hot rolling coil mill, low and medium carbon content, was designed for a production capacity of up to 600 Ktonnes per year.
Plates can be rolled with thickness 8-200 mm and maximum width 3000 mm. Maximum length of plates is 24 m. Maximum weight is 35 tons.
Plates can be supplied:
- As rolled
- Normalizing rolling
- Normalized in furnace
- Annealed

- Dimension/Flatness: EN10029
- Surface: EN10163
- Ultrasonic Test: EN10160
- Certificates: EN10204
- Testing as per: EN ASTM/ASME
- Ferriera Valsider has also obtained the main specific product certifications for plates: ADW1/AD2000W1 (TÜV), 97/23 PED instruction (TÜV), CE marking.
- Hot rolled coils supplied by Ferriera Valsider have thickness 1,8-25 mm, width max 1555 mm and inside Ø 750 mm.
- Maximum weight of one HRC is 35 tons.

- Certificates: EN10204
- Testing as per: EN ASTM/ASME
